As ever, when local people report a problem, Ward Councillors move swiftly to ensure that the responsible authorities respond quickly and provide answers to frustrating questions such as "What is going on?".
In the case of this ongoing leak in Grove End Road, we were able to ascertain that Thames Water had struggled to locate the valve to enable the repair. They found that the leak was starting to impact the local water supply itself so they had no alternative but to turn off the water to fix it immediately. This has been completed and the pipe is fixed.
