One of the key issues highlighted by local people in the recent Knightsbridge Neighbourhood Plan was the importance of the heritage features in the area.
Responding to this, local Councillor Rachael Robathan, secured funding from the Council to restore the railings and heritage lamps on Rutland Gate. Cllr Robathan explains "one of the things which makes Knightsbridge such a special place to live and to visit is its wealth of heritage features and I’m delighted that these particularly lovely lamps and railings are now being repaired and restored to their full glory. We will continue to work alongside the Forum and the Knightsbridge Association to ensure these assets are protected."
