After a lengthy round of applications, hearings, re-applications and more hearings, consent was eventually agreed for the Developer to proceed with a much-reduced project that we hope will not harm residents' quality of life or access to light.
It is always difficult to fairly manage such applications, but we applaud the manner in which all the residents of William Court came together, supported by us - and in particular Cllr Peter Freeman at the recent Planning Applications Hearing - to ensure their voices were heard and the outcome was fair and that the Planning Sub-Committee (again) had the chance for a further site visit.
